A field report from someone who stood twelve months ago where most are only arriving today.

May 2025: We were thrilled. Rightly so.

Almost exactly a year ago we started putting AI agents into our workflows. Process automation, orchestration, the whole program. And it worked. Really well, actually. Agents completing tasks, preparing decisions, accelerating processes. We were as excited as kids on Christmas morning.

The only problem was: Christmas ends eventually.

The question nobody asks

Because the more agents we deployed, the louder a question became that appears in no pitch deck and on no conference slide:

Who is this agent, actually?

Not in the sense of "which model is running". But:

Who owns it? What is it allowed to do? Can it prove that? And when it messes up, who is liable?

Orchestration is the easy problem. The industry has figured that out. Connecting tools, building workflows, chaining agents. That is craft. Good craft, no question. But it is not the challenge that keeps us up at night.

The challenge is identity. Accountability. Auditability. In a world where agents no longer just execute scripts but act autonomously, communicate and make decisions.

From orchestration to infrastructure

So we stopped just optimizing processes. And started building infrastructure.

The result is four pillars that interlock:

Elpis – an open protocol for cryptographic agent identity. No proprietary silo, no vendor lock in. An agent gets a passport. A real one. Cryptographically verifiable, revocable, renewable. Like a travel document, but for software.

ARGUS – compliance that is not bolted on after the fact but runs from the start. No checkbox exercise for auditors. An immune system that detects, responds and heals. In real time.

Pandora – workforce management for mixed teams. Humans and agents in the same structures with clear responsibilities. Not "AI as a tool" but AI as a colleague. With a passport, a role and accountability.

EACD – a new standard that teaches the internet to speak a different language with agents. Because content delivery has to change when half the consumers are no longer human.

The LinkedIn smile

When I open my LinkedIn feed today and read "Agentic Process Orchestration", I smile. Not out of arrogance. Truly not. But because I know exactly what it feels like to stand where these companies stand right now. The excitement when the first agent completes a workflow. The sobering moment when you realize it does not scale without governance. The sleepless night when it hits you that you have an identity problem nobody has solved.

We stood there. Ten months ago.

And then we moved on.

What this is really about

It is not about who builds the better agent orchestrator. That is a solved problem looking for a differentiator.

It is about managing a new kind of workforce. Humans and agents, identifiable, accountable, auditable. That is not a feature you bolt onto an existing product. That is an infrastructure revolution.

And revolutions do not start with a better dashboard. They start with a question:

When a foreign agent accesses your API, shows up in your chat, queries data on your website: do you know who is behind it? Human or machine? Customer or attacker? Legitimate assistant or automated fraud?

The answer today is: No.

Everyone talks about AI powered fake news, deepfakes, automated attacks. Everyone complains. But the solution is not bans. The solution is identity. When every agent carries a cryptographically verifiable passport, the game is over for anonymous actors.

We built that. Not with a whitepaper. Not with a roadmap. With running code, a published protocol and infrastructure that is productive today.

You are welcome to take a look.
